Meal Plan Details

When selecting a meal plan, a student is selecting this option for the academic year. Meal Plans are billed per semester and added to the tuition bill. All residential students are required to have a meal plan based on options below. Commuter students have the option of purchasing any of the meal plan options. First year students will be obligated to maintain a minimum 12-meal plan through the academic year regardless of assigned location. Students can increase their meal plan throughout the semester but they can only reduce or delete their meal plan through the 12th class day. Dining Dollars purchased with a meal plan can be used at on-campus dining and food retail outlets (Sandellas, Texan Food Court, Dining Hall, Dunkin Donuts, or the Convenience Store.)

Resident Meal Plans

The following meal plans have been designed to meet your campus dining needs. To make changes to an existing plan, please contact Facilities & Special Events at (254) 968-9083.


Fall 2018-Spring 2019

First and second year residential students must select either the 17-meal plan or 12-meal plan.


Residential -1st and 2nd year students (mandatory) and available for all other students

A. 17 meals, $200 Dining dollars - 17 meals per week (7 days) in dining hall, $200 dining retail on campus, 5 family and friend swipes per semester, and a bottomless mug (default plan) - $1,950 per semester

B.12 meals, $300 Dining Dollars - 12 meals per week (7 days) in dining hall, $300 dining retail on campus, 5 family and friend swipes per semester - $1,750 per semester


Third and fourth year residential students may select the 17-meal plan or 12-meal plan or choose from one of the following options.


Residential - 3rd and 4th year students

C. Super Flex 7 - 7 meals in the dining hall plus $300 dining retail on campus - $1,000 per semester

D. Ultimate Commuter Plan - $1,250 Dining Dollars for dining retail on campus plus a bottomless mug - $1,000 per semester

E. Oscar P Plan - $250.00 Dining Dollars for dining retail on campus  - $200 per semester (university apartment residents not on meal program will be required to enroll)


Commuter students have the option of selecting any meal plan from above.


Please note: The 17-meal plan with $200 Dining dollars will be the default meal plan for residential students who do not preselect a plan prior to the start of school. 

Important Info

Students who reside in traditional residence halls will be required to purchase a Carte Blanche, 15, or 10 Meal Plan. IF no plan is chosen, you will be assigned the 15 Meal Plan.

Seconds Policy
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program.  Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including unlimited servings of all food and beverage items, with the exception of steak/gourmet night entrees and special event menus, shall be available to resident dining patrons under the following conditions:

  • Sodexo may limit resident dining patrons to one(1) portion of each food item and two (2) beverages the first time through the serving line. Resident dining patrons who do not exit the dining area may return to the serving line or other designated areas for seconds.
  • All food obtained by resident dining patrons from the serving line must be consumed within the dining area.
